For the last ten years city librarian Katherine ‘Luna Park’ Lorimer has been cataloging the art to be found on NYC streets. She quickly learned that for those that pay attention, the street can provide as much of an arts education as a museum. Unsanctioned: Art on the Streets of New York is the culmination of a decade of obsessively keeping up with NYC graffiti and street art.
An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was conducting a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending time to discuss this topic here on your web page.

This lecture will coincide with the Foreign Policy Association’s year-long Centennial Lecture Series, celebrating 100 years of commitment to fostering an educated public discourse on the most influential topics in U.S. foreign policy. The Foreign Policy Association’s Centennial Lecture Series features extraordinary speakers, who will take the long view and imagine the future in their respective disciplines. The importance of providing citizens with accessible, in-depth, non-partisan material is vital to future world peace and prosperity. In one of his final public addresses, President Franklin D. Roosevelt told the Foreign Policy Association that "In a democracy the Government functions with the consent of the whole people. The latter must be guided by the facts." Now more than ever, this message continues to have resonance, and will remain the guiding principle and goal of the Foreign Policy Association.
Normally I do not learn post on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very compelled me to check out and do so! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, very great post.

Hi I am so excited I found your site, I really found you by accident, while I was searching on Digg for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say thanks a lot for a tremendous post and a all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to read through it all at the moment but I have book-marked it and also added your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the excellent job.
When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
Oh my goodness! Incredible article dude! Thanks, However I am experiencing difficulties with your RSS. I don’t know why I cannot subscribe to it. Is there anybody else getting identical RSS problems?
Even though our data tech is getting immeasurably better, we’re just filling it up with bloat these days. Back in the dinosaur era when all info on the web was text-based, I’d bet we sent about the same amount of useful data without all the untold exabytes of video we have to host now to talk about or learn anything online. It’s kind of silly.
Hello there, I discovered your blog via Google whilst searching for a similar topic, your web site came up, it appears to be like great. I have bookmarked it in my google bookmarks.
Thanks for the advice Darren,I already use Firefox and Thunderbird (I made my wife switch to thunderbird too, she didn’t like it at first). I’ll have a go with GAIM later today. Knoppix looks like it could be good to try for a while. I have run dual-boot win2k/redhat7 before but removed it because I only have a winmodem and couldn’t do anything on the internet, but now that I have broadband it’s probably worth trying again.I will move, even if it is only baby steps.
