In 2020, all the major nodes target of Baihetan Hydropower Station has been completed as schedule.

Among them, the mechanical and electrical engineering construction has been completed the hoisting of 5 units rotor, 6 units wheel hoisting, 6 units main transformer body installation and 7 units stator core lamination and magnetization tests which were set a new record for unit installation. Wheel manufacturing production has been completed 10sets in total, all of them are high-quality products; The good rate of unit installation project is 100%. The stator wire rod and rotor magnetic pole voltage withstand test are passed once, it is realized the installation of million kilowatt units are all best.

The total Installed capacity of Baihetan Hydropower Station is 16 million kilowatts. The left and right banks are equipped with eight hydro-turbine generators with a single capacity of 1 million kilowatts respectively, which the single capacity is ranking first in the world.
